Do I have to be barefoot? Can I wear socks or dance shoes?
Most people dance barefoot at the Boogie, but socks or clean shoes with non-marking soles are acceptable
(we provide wipes if you need to clean off your shoes).
What kind of music do you play?
Every DJ and every dance is different. Each of our DJs has his or her own style, and sometimes we have
live music which brings another flavor to the Boogie. Our email announcements generally give a
description of each DJ's style. We invite you to try the dance out different times and experience the music!
Do you happen to know of any dances in my area?
Check out our parent organization's site, Dance New England. They have dance listings nationally and
internationally and may be able to help you.
For a daily dance fix, check out our friends at the Rise & Shine Shake
